I received this book in return for an honest review.
I enjoyed the story line and the character developments. There were a few grammar errors but reviews are not meant to be an attack and the author missing a few things (no one is perfect). What reviews are meant to be is how the story was and sky winters did a great job at creating a world you can get lost in.
This was a very emotion short read. You like shifter stories then you will like this one. We meet the characters that have things happen in their life that is holding them back from finding that true happiness. When every day is a struggle to just move that is what Joy is living. Zak show up and then we get to see a start chemistry that can make them happy. Will Joy be able to let the past go of the hold on her? Recommend this book
I liked this story, it had suspense, the heartbreak of a parent that is ill and really makes you want to cheer for the girl who lost herself only to get it back by the help of one's true love and a protective family of strangers. I would recommend this book, it was quite enjoyable.

Will the couple so young long ago, will be happy when things of the present finally bring them together once again.
Joy thought she knew the world at graduation from high school and wanted the rough and tumble bad boy Aris. Little did she know she would regret that soft nerdy boy she told no.
Zak has grown up a lot since he last saw the beautiful Joy. Now adults he knows what he wants. Especially when he sees her bad in their town.
Will they finally get their happy Everly after.
Joy made a bad choice back in high school and found herself in an even worse place in the future. It's never too late to learn your lesson and so she went back to her safe place, home, to start over.
I was happy to read her apologize to Zak for ditching him for Aris and him be so forgiving and still want to be with her after so much time had passed. They took their second chance and ran with it. Who doesn't love babies and a HEA. I thought that was so cute they had one baby girl bear and one human daughter.
I really wanted to like this book since the theme of reunited/lost loves is one of my favorites, but just couldn't. I have tried not to take any stars off just because I didn't like the characters hence the 4 star rating. Yes, the writing could have been edited a bit better and been more focused but I just couldn't get into the characters, Joy and Zack. I couldn't connect enough to care either way about them. He was purely unlikable and she was so wishy washy I wanted to slap her up side the head. The do get their HEA and for others I'm sure this will be a more enjoyable and fine read so I will recommend it.

Save your time (and money). I have to say that this is some of the most sophomoric writing I have read in a long time. The author has a vague plot, but as a reader it is hard to understand where this story is headed. The editing is terrible as chapters seem to run together and I was never sure what exactly was going on. Overall I am sad that I wasted a morning reading this. Perhaps with some rewrites this story could be flushed out into a more concise and entertaining read, but as of right now it is awful.
